Fotogalerij van een Leopard 2E, The Luipaard 2E (E staat voor España, Spaans voor Spanje) is een variant van de Duitse Leopard 2 gevechtstank, afgestemd op de eisen van het Spaanse leger, dat het verwierf als onderdeel van een moderniseringsprogramma voor bewapening genaamd Programa Coraza, of Program Breastplate. Het aankoopprogramma voor de Leopard 2E begon in 1994, vijf jaar na de annulering van het Lince-tankprogramma dat culmineerde in een overeenkomst om 108 Leopard 2A4's over te dragen aan het Spaanse leger in 1998 en begon met de lokale productie van de Leopard 2E in december 2003. Ondanks uitstel van de productie als gevolg van de fusie in 2003 tussen Santa Bárbara Sistemas en General Dynamics, en aanhoudende fabricageproblemen tussen 2006 en 2007, zijn er 219 Leopard 2E's geleverd aan het Spaanse leger.
