A SZFINX (Secret Project for High Intensity and New Conflicts) a Panhard fejlesztette ki magánvállalkozásként, hogy megfeleljen a francia hadsereg EBCR (Engine Blinde de Reconnaissance et de Combat) követelményeinek. The SPHINX was a 6×6 armored vehicle concept developed by Panhard (now Arquus) as a private venture and a candidate for the French Army’s EBRC (Armoured Vehicle for Reconnaissance and Combat) program, aimed at replacing the older ERC-90 Sagaie.
