Lisätietoja:

The ST Aerospace A-4SU Super Skyhawk is a modified version of the Douglas A-4S Skyhawk light attack aircraft developed by Singapore Technologies Aerospace (ST Aerospace) in the 1980s. It was used by the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) as its main fighter-bomber until its retirement in 2005. The A-4SU Super Skyhawk was the result of a comprehensive upgrade program that involved installing a more powerful engine, a modern avionics suite, a radar warning receiver, a chaff and flare dispenser, and other enhancements to improve the aircraft’s performance and survivability.
The A-4SU Super Skyhawk was capable of carrying a wide range of weapons, including air-to-air missiles, air-to-ground rockets, bombs, and laser-guided munitions. The A-4SU Super Skyhawk also had a two-seat trainer variant, the TA-4SU, which was used for conversion and operational training. The A-4SU Super Skyhawk served as the RSAF’s main strike platform for over two decades, participating in several exercises and operations with regional and international partners. The A-4SU Super Skyhawk was replaced by the F-16 Fighting Falcon in the RSAF’s fighter-bomber role.
