Nniiden Pohjois-Amerikan A-36 Apache (lueteltu joissakin lähteissä nimellä "Invader", mutta kutsutaan myös nimellä Mustang) oli Pohjois-Amerikan P-51 Mustangin maahyökkäys-/sukelluspommikoneversio, josta se voitiin erottaa suorakulmaisten, säleisten sukellusjarrujen läsnäolosta siipien ylä- ja alapuolella. Yhteensä 500 A-36-syöksypommittajaa palveli Pohjois-Afrikassa, Välimerellä, Italiassa ja Kiinan-Burman-Intian teatterissa toisen maailmansodan aikana ennen kuin ne poistettiin operatiivisesta käytöstä vuonna 1944.

Nniiden Lockheed Martin F-35 Salama II on yksipaikkaisten, yksimoottoristen, jokasään varkain monikäyttöisten taistelijoiden perhe, jota Yhdysvallat kehittää ja testaa lopullisesti. F-35: ssä on kolme päämallia: F-35A: n tavanomainen lentoonlähtö- ja laskuversio (CTOL), F-35B lyhyt lentoonlähtö- ja pystylasku (STOVL) -versio ja F-35C-kantoaaltopohjainen Catapult Assisted Take-Off But Arrested Recovery (CATOBAR) -variantti. 31. heinäkuuta 2015 ensimmäinen laivue julistettiin valmiiksi käyttöön Yhdysvaltojen intensiivisen testauksen jälkeen.

Valokuvagalleria Härkä ARV , The Leopard is a main battle tank designed and produced in West Germany that first entered service in 1965. Developed in an era when HEAT warheads were thought to make conventional heavy armour of limited value, the Leopard focused on firepower in the form of the German-built version of the British L7 105-mm gun, and improved cross-country performance that was unmatched by other designs of the era. Modified and derivative vehicles : Simultaneous to the production of the battle tanks, a number of engineering, bridging and recovery vehicles were developed. The Canadian Land Forces operate the Beaver bridgelayer, Taurus ARV, and Badger AEV, all based on the Leopard 1.

Valokuvagalleria M5 Puolimatka, The M5 Half-track (officially the Carrier, Personnel Half-track M5) was an American armored personnel carrier in use during World War II. It was developed in 1942 when existing manufacturers of the M2 Half Track Car, and M3 Half-track could not keep up with production demand. International Harvester (IH) had capacity to produce a similar vehicle to the M3 but some differences from it had to be accepted. The M5 was produced by IH from December 1942 to October 1943.

Valokuvagalleria Douglas A-26 hyökkääjä, The Douglas A-26 Invader (designated B-26 between 1948 and 1965) is a twin-engined light bomber and ground attack aircraft that was built by Douglas Aircraft Company during World War II which also saw service during several major Cold War conflicts. A limited number of highly modified United States Air Force aircraft served in Southeast Asia until 1969. It was a fast aircraft capable of carrying twice its specified bomb load. A range of guns could be fitted to produce a formidable ground-attack aircraft. A re-designation of the type from A-26 to B-26 led to confusion with the Martin B-26 Marauder, which first flew in November 1940, about 16 months before the Douglas design’s maiden flight. Although both types were powered by the widely used Pratt & Whitney R-2800 Double Wasp eighteen-cylinder, double-row radial engine, they were completely different and separate designs — the Martin bomber originated in 1939, with roughly twice as many Marauders (nearly 5,300) produced in comparison to the Douglas design.

Valokuvagalleria TACAM R-2, The TACAM R-2 (Tun Anticar pe Afet Mobil – Self-propelled Anti-tank Gun) was a Romanian tank destroyer used during World War II. It was built by removing the turret of the R-2 light tank and building a pedestal to mount an ex-Soviet 76.2 mm (3.00 in) ZiS-3 field gun in its place. A three-sided fighting compartment was built to protect the gun and its crew. Twenty were built in 1944, but only one is known to exist today. It participated in the Budapest Offensive and the Prague Offensive.

Valokuvagalleria T-92-valosäiliö, T92 Light Tank was an innovative American light tank developed in the 1950s by Aircraft Armaments. At 18.5 tonnes, 5m length, it was designed as an airborne/airdropped replacement for the 5 tonnes heavier M41 Walker Bulldog. The T92 was never accepted into service. The main gun was a conventional 76 mm cannon with a very low profile turret. Little more was exposed than the main gun and two crew cupolas which allowed 50 caliber and 30 caliber machine guns to fire buttoned up. The engine was moved to the front, which increased protection, and a rear access door provided an escape hatch and protection while reloading; this layout was later adopted by the contemporary Israeli Merkava battle tank. It had a crew of four with a semi-automatic loading system. It carried 60 main gun rounds, and automatically ejected spent shell casings.

Valokuvagalleria Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II, The Fairchild Republic A-10 Thunderbolt II is a single seat, twin-engine, straight wing jet aircraft developed by Fairchild-Republic for the United States Air Force. Its official name comes from the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt, a fighter particularly effective at close air support. The A-10 is more commonly known by its nicknames “Warthog” or “Hog”. The A-10 was designed for close-in support of ground troops, close air support, providing quick-action support for troops against helicopters, vehicles, and ground troops. It entered service in 1976 and is the only production-built aircraft that has served in the USAF that was designed solely for CAS. Its secondary mission is to provide forward air controller – airborne (FAC-A) support, by directing other aircraft in attacks on ground targets. Aircraft used primarily in this role are designated OA-10.

About 20,000 T-72 tanks were built, making it one of the most widely produced post–World War II tanks, second only to the T-54/55 family. The T-72 was widely exported and saw service in 40 countries and in numerous conflicts. Improved variants are still being built for export customers.
