Este año marca el aniversario de la Guerra de las Malvinas que ocurrió hace 30 años en 1982, y Cyber Hobby conmemora el evento histórico con un segundo kit a escala 1/72 del helicóptero Sea King. Los modelistas recibieron con entusiasmo la nueva variante de transporte de tropas Westland WS-61 Sea King HC.4, y ese artículo Cyber-Hobby resultó ser un éxito instantáneo. Este segundo kit representa el raro helicóptero AEW.2 de alerta temprana aerotransportado. El combate en la Guerra de las Malvinas reveló una brecha de AEW en la capacidad de la Royal Navy (RN), e incluso mientras el conflicto estaba en marcha, Westland comenzó a convertir dos helicópteros Sea King HAS.2 en mayo de 1982. Después del programa de desarrollo del accidente, estos dos helicópteros se unieron al grupo de trabajo de reemplazo cuando zarpó en agosto, aunque eran demasiado tarde para participar en los combates reales. Los AEW.2 presentaban un radar Thorn-EMI ARI 5930/3 Searchwater montado en un radomo inflable instalado en un brazo giratorio.

The ship was laid down in April 1936 and launched August 1938; Prinz Eugen entered service after the outbreak of war, in August 1940. The ship was named after Prince Eugene of Savoy, an 18th century Austrian general.

The Eduard Brassin accessories covers the cockpit (pilot’s compartment bay, pilot’s seat, armor plate behind the seat, center wing section, radio equipment), the superchargers (the entire supercharger, plus the supercharger intakes located on the engine sides) and landing gear wheels (including the front wheel, with superb details on their discs, also as the fine tire pattern). The photoetched accessories (colored) contains the instrument panel and seatbelts, air intake strainers and structure of the coolers intakes, landing gear interior and various exterior details.
