Fotogalerie eines Glocke X-1B, The Bell X-1, designated originally as XS-1, was a joint National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics-U.S. Army Air Forces-U.S. Air Force supersonic research project built by the Bell Aircraft Company. Conceived during 1944 and designed and built during 1945, it achieved a speed of nearly 1,000 miles per hour (1,600 km/h; 870 kn) during 1948. A derivative of this same design, the Bell X-1A, having greater fuel capacity and hence longer rocket burning time, exceeded 1,600 miles per hour (2,600 km/h; 1,400 kn) during 1954. The X-1 was the first manned airplane to exceed the speed of sound in level flight and was the first of the so-called X-planes, a series of American experimental rocket planes designated for testing of new technologies and often kept secret.

Fotogalerie eines Avro Vulcan B2, The Avro Vulcan (officially Hawker Siddeley Vulcan from July 1963) is a jet-powered delta wing strategic bomber, which was operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF) from 1956 until 1984. Aircraft manufacturer A.V. Roe and Company (Avro) designed the Vulcan in response to Specification B.35/46. Of the three V bombers produced, the Vulcan was considered the most technically advanced and hence the riskiest option. Several scale aircraft, designated Avro 707, were produced to test and refine the delta wing design principles.

THE BOX CONTAIN: 1 MODEL KIT – 1 LIQUID CEMENT – 1 TANK GUIDE – 1 POSTER (42×59,4cm) – WORLD oF TANKS DECALS – 3 INVITE CODES – 1 BONUS CODE

das Leopard 1 was the main battle tank of West Germany, first entering service in 1965. On the one hand, this is a saga of perfect German engineering evidenced by its fantastic cross-country performance. On the other hand, this is only half the story. In truth, this tank was an international effort featuring a German-built version of the fantastic British L7 105mm gun which made this tank one of the deadliest machines on the planet. France and other European nations also had an impact on its design. Over 6000 tanks were manufactured and saw service in diverse conflicts at the hands of various militaries. Throughout its lifetime it saw a series of six upgrades from Leopard 1A1 up to Leopard 1A6. It was also used as a platform for many specialist military vehicles and was of particular use to army engineers. The legacy of this tank lives on to this day, with some arguing it was the greatest machine of its age.

Fotogalerie eines M1117 ASV, The M1117 Guardian Armored Security Vehicle, or ASV, is an internal security vehicle manufactured by Textron Marine & Land Systems for use by the U.S. Army’s Military Police Corps. The design is greatly inspired by french VAB. Its armament consists of an Mk 19 grenade launcher and M2HB Browning machine gun, mounted in a turret similar to that used on the U.S. Marine Corps’ Amphibious Assault Vehicle; and a M240H Medium Machine Gun mounted outside the gunner’s hatch. The vehicle was popular with American military police and convoy security units in Iraq. It is a more heavily protected and heavily armed alternative to the armored Humvee which was not originally designed to be a protected fighting vehicle.
