Album di 64 foto walk-around di un "M1117 ASV"

Galleria fotografica di un M1117 ASV, The M1117 Guardian Armored Security Vehicle, or ASV, is an internal security vehicle manufactured by Textron Marine & Land Systems for use by the U.S. Army’s Military Police Corps. The design is greatly inspired by french VAB. Its armament consists of an Mk 19 grenade launcher and M2HB Browning machine gun, mounted in a turret similar to that used on the U.S. Marine Corps’ Amphibious Assault Vehicle; and a M240H Medium Machine Gun mounted outside the gunner’s hatch. The vehicle was popular with American military police and convoy security units in Iraq. It is a more heavily protected and heavily armed alternative to the armored Humvee which was not originally designed to be a protected fighting vehicle.

Un modello del marchio Airfix il kit : Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat Starter Set – Airfix A55214.

Scale: 1:72 Skill: 3 Flying Hours: 1 Number of Parts: 107

Corazzata tedesca Bismarck

THE BOX CONTAIN: 1 MODEL KIT – 1 LIQUID CEMENT – 1 SHIP GUIDE – 1 WALL POSTER (29,7x42cm) – WORLD of WARSHIPS DECALS – 3 INVITE CODES – 1 BONUS CODE

Based on the Bayern class of battleships from WWI, the Bismarck was the pinnacle of German heavy ship development- and probably the best known German ship of World War II. Laid down in 1936, Bismarck was launched in February 1939 and its outfitting proceeded quickly in the shadow of impending war. Even so, Bismarck missed the beginning of the war and the great offensive effort of the Kriegsmarine (KM) during the invasion of Norway. Commissioned in August 1940, Bismarck departed swiftly for sea trials which lasted until the end of the year. With Bismarck’s sister ship, Tirpitz, nearing completion, a grand sortie of all the KM heavy units was planned for 1941, with the goal of disrupting British convoys in the Atlantic an expansion on the previous Operation Berlin. However, it was quickly found that the Tirpitz would be delayed and other ships were unavailable. As a result, the Bismarck departed on 19 May, 1941, for its only combat sortie escorted only by a heavy cruiser, the Prinz Eugen.

Pz. Kpfw. V Panther

THE BOX CONTAIN: 1 MODEL KIT – 1 LIQUID CEMENT – 1 TANK GUIDE – 1 POSTER (42×59,4cm) – WORLD oF TANKS DECALS – 3 INVITE CODES – 1 BONUS CODE

Le Pantera was produced as a reaction to the tanks encountered by German forces during Operation Barbarossa. Having considered Soviet tank designs to be obsolete, German tank crews were stunned when they came up against concepts like sloped armour on the T-34 and the sheer size and brutality of the KV-1. The Panther, designed as a kind of multi-purpose tank, took Soviet innovations and supersized them. Entering the battlefield from 1943 and weighing in at around 45 tonnes, this was a huge machine. It was technologically ambitious, seeking to combine armouring with speed and firepower. It mounted one of the best guns of the war – the dependable 7,5 cm Kw.K 42 L/70. However, in needing the tank on the field as quickly as possible, many shortcuts were taken in the manufacture and testing of the Panther. Reliability problems and mechanical failures became the bane of its crews. It was an over-engineered design that left no room for cutting corners. Roughly 6000 Panthers were made, but arrived too late to make a difference. It cannot be denied that if it had arrived earlier, and with all its high-tech features operational, the path of history would have deviated.

SOVIET DIVE BOMBER PE-2
