Fotogalleri af en Mil Mi-1 Hare, The Mil Mi-1 (USAF/DoD reporting name “Type 32”, NATO reporting name “Hare”) was a Soviet three- or four-seat light utility helicopter. It was the first Soviet helicopter to enter serial production. It is powered by one 575 hp Ivchenko AI-26V radial. It entered service in 1950 and was first seen on the 1951 Soviet Aviation Day, Tushino and was produced for 16 years. More than 1,000 were built in the USSR and 1,594 in Poland, as SM-1.

Den Mil Mi-1 Hare helicopter was a pioneering design in the history of Soviet aviation. It was the first helicopter to enter serial production in the USSR, and it served in various roles for both military and civilian purposes. The Mi-1 was powered by a single Ivchenko AI-26V radial piston engine, which delivered 575 hp and drove a three-bladed main rotor. The helicopter had a maximum speed of 185 km/h and a range of 430 km.
Den kunne transportere op til fire personer, inklusive piloten, i en enkelt kabine. Mi-1 blev fløjet første gang den 20. september 1948 og blev taget i brug i 1950.
