Tá K2 Černý panter (Hangul: K2 "흑표"; Hanja: K2 "黑豹") je jihokorejský hlavní bojový tank nové generace navržený Jihokorejskou agenturou pro obranný rozvoj a vyráběný společností Hyundai Rotem. K2 Black Panther, vyvinutý jako moderní hlavní bojový tank, který nahradí většinu zbývajících tanků M48 Patton a doplní řadu hlavních bojových tanků K1, které v současné době klade jihokorejská armáda, kombinuje automaticky nabité hlavní dělo ráže 55 120 mm, pokročilý kompozitní pancíř spolu s aktivními ochrannými systémy tvrdého a měkkého zabíjení. Sériová výroba byla zahájena v roce 2013 a první K2 byly nasazeny s ozbrojenými silami v červnu 2014. K2 stojí přes 8$5 milionu USD za jednotku, což z něj činí jeden z nejdražších hlavních bojových tanků ve službě ze všech národů.

General Characteristics
The K2 Black Panther is a modern Main Battle Tank developed by Hyundai Rotem for the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) to replace older tanks and complement the K1 series. Designed as a 4th-generation MBT, it incorporates advanced domestic and foreign technologies, notably a high-velocity 120 mm gun with an autoloader, sophisticated composite armor, and a hydropneumatic suspension system that allows for posture control. It is considered one of the most technologically advanced and expensive tanks in the world.
