- Avionics: Modern variants (EX EASy and later) feature the Honeywell Primus Epic-based EASy flight deck, improving situational awareness and pilot workload.
- Aerodynamics: Later models (LX/LXS) include distinctive Blended Winglets to improve range and efficiency.

- Runway Performance: The 2000LXS is known for excellent short-field capabilities, with a landing distance (typical) of only 689 m (2,260 ft), allowing access to more challenging airports.

- Falcon 2000EX: Re-engined variant with PW308C engines for increased range (approx. 3,878 nm).
- Falcon 2000LX: EX variant with standard winglets, pushing the range to 4,000 nm.
