Tthe Panther Był niemieckim czołgiem średnim rozmieszczanym podczas II wojny światowej na froncie wschodnim i zachodnim w Europie od połowy 1943 do końca 1945 roku. Posiadał oznaczenie inwentaryzacji ordnance Sd.Kfz. 171. Do 27 lutego 1944 roku został wyznaczony jako Panzerkampfwagen V Panther, gdy Hitler nakazał usunięcie rzymskiej cyfry "V". The Bergepanther, officially the Panzer-Bergegerät (Panther I), was Germany’s armored recovery vehicle based on the chassis of the Panther medium tank. It was developed out of necessity in 1943 because existing half-track vehicles (like the Sd.Kfz. 9 “Famo”) were unable to reliably recover the increasingly heavy Panther and Tiger tanks.
Role and Design
