Komisia Panther bol nemecký stredný tank rozmiestnený počas druhej svetovej vojny na východnom a západnom fronte v Európe od polovice roku 1943 do jeho konca v roku 1945. Mal označenie inventára munície sd.Kfz. 171. februára 1944 bol označený ako Panzerkampfwagen V Panther, keď Hitler nariadil vypustiť rímsku číslicu "V". Súčasné správy v anglickom jazyku ho niekedy označujú ako Označenie V. Bergepanther (Bergepanther) : Obrnené rešeršné vozidlo.

The Bergepanther, officially the Panzer-Bergegerät (Panther I), was Germany’s armored recovery vehicle based on the chassis of the Panther medium tank. It was developed out of necessity in 1943 because existing half-track vehicles (like the Sd.Kfz. 9 “Famo”) were unable to reliably recover the increasingly heavy Panther and Tiger tanks.
Role and Design
