More info:

The BAC 167 Strikemaster Mk80A is a British jet-powered training and light attack aircraft. It was developed from the Hunting Jet Provost trainer in the 1960s and exported to several countries. The Strikemaster Mk80A was the most advanced variant of the series, featuring an uprated engine, improved avionics and weapons systems, and a strengthened airframe. The Strikemaster Mk80A could carry a variety of weapons, including rockets, bombs, gun pods and air-to-air missiles. It had a maximum speed of 834 km/h (518 mph) and a range of 2,222 km (1,381 mi). The Strikemaster Mk80A was used by the air forces of Botswana, Ecuador, Kenya, Kuwait, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Sudan. Some of these operators used the aircraft in combat operations against insurgent groups or neighboring countries. The Strikemaster Mk80A was retired from service in the early 2000s and replaced by more modern aircraft.
