De Sukhoi Zo-7 (NAVO-aanduiding naam: Fitter-A) was een geveegd vleugel, supersonisch gevechtsvliegtuig ontwikkeld door de Sovjet-Unie in 1955. Oorspronkelijk was het ontworpen als tactische, low-level dogfighter, maar was niet succesvol in deze rol. Aan de andere kant werd de snel geïntroduceerde Su-7B-serie de belangrijkste Sovjet-jachtbommenwerper en grondaanvalsvliegtuig van de jaren 1960. De Su-7 was robuust in zijn eenvoud, maar zijn tekortkomingen omvatten korte afstand en lage wapenbelasting.

De Sukhoi Zo-7 was a Soviet fighter and fighter-bomber aircraft developed in the 1950s. It had a swept wing design with a 60-degree angle and a single air intake in the nose with a movable cone. The Su-7 was powered by a Lyulka AL-7 turbojet engine with afterburner, which gave it a top speed of over 2,000 km/h.
De Su-7 was armed with two 30 mm cannons and could carry up to 2,000 kg of bombs, rockets, missiles, or drop tanks on its four hardpoints. The Su-7 entered service in 1959 as a front-line fighter, but it was soon replaced by the more advanced MiG-21. However, the Su-7 found a new role as a ground-attack aircraft, especially after it was modified with stronger landing gear, air brakes, and an automatic terrain-following system. The Su-7B variant became the main Soviet fighter-bomber and ground-attack aircraft of the 1960s, and was widely exported to other countries such as India, Egypt, Iraq, and North Korea.
