2007 Sukhoi Su-26 yra vienvietis akrobatinis orlaivis iš buvusios Sovietų Sąjungos, varomas vienu radialiniu stūmokliniu varikliu. "Su-26" turi viduryje sumontuotus tiesius sparnus ir fiksuotą važiuoklę, pagrindinę pavarą, sumontuotą ant kieto titano lanko.

The Sukhoi Su-26M is a single-seat, single-engine aerobatic aircraft derived from the original Su-26. It is one of the world’s premier unlimited-class aerobatic competitors, known for its extremely light weight, high power-to-weight ratio, and robust structure capable of withstanding severe g-forces.

Design and Powerplant

Engine: One Vedeneyev M-14P 9-cylinder, air-cooled radial piston engine.

Propeller: Three-bladed (later four-bladed) German Mühlbauer composite propeller.
Construction: The Su-26 was the first Soviet aerobatic aircraft to use over 50% composite materials, resulting in a very high strength-to-weight ratio.

Cockpit: Bubble canopy provides excellent all-around visibility, crucial for aerobatic competition.

G-Force Limits: Certified for maximum load factors of +12 to -10g, allowing for extremely violent maneuvers typical in international unlimited aerobatics.
Key Improvement (Su-26M): The “M” variant introduced structural enhancements, redesigned wingtips, lighter materials, and often a four-bladed propeller, further enhancing its vertical performance and roll authority.
Competition Success: The Su-26 family won numerous gold medals at World and European Aerobatic Championships, demonstrating superior performance against its Western counterparts.
