Le Messerschmitt Bf 108 Taifun was a German single-engine sport and touring aircraft, developed by Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (Bavarian Aircraft Works) in the 1930s. The Bf 108 was of all-metal construction. The Bf 108 was adopted into Luftwaffe service during World War II, where it was primarily used as a personnel transport and liaison aircraft.

Il Messerschmitt Me-108 Taifun era un aereo monomotore quadriposto sviluppato da Willy Messerschmitt, ingegnere capo della Bayerische Flugzeugwerke (BFW) di Augusta, in Germania. Il nome Taifun (tifone) fu dato dall'aviatrice tedesca Elly Beinhorn, che il 13 agosto 1935 effettuò un raid da Gleiwitz a Berlino a Istanbul. Il Me-108 è stato progettato come aereo sportivo e da turismo per l'International Tourist Challenge del 1934. È stato il primo aereo interamente in metallo con carrello di atterraggio retrattile e altre caratteristiche moderne per l'epoca. Il Me-108 è stato utilizzato anche dalla Luftwaffe come aereo di collegamento e trasporto personale durante la seconda guerra mondiale, così come da diversi altri paesi. La produzione del Me-108 fu trasferita nella Francia occupata durante la guerra e continuò dopo la guerra come Nord 1000 Pingouin.
