Per saperne di più:

Le VAB francese is a versatile and widely used armored personnel carrier and support vehicle that has been in service since 1976. It was designed by Renault Trucks Defense (formerly SAVIEM) to meet the requirements of the French Army for an amphibious, NBC-protected and wheeled troop transporter. The VAB can carry up to 10 passengers and a crew of two, and can be armed with various weapons such as machine guns, autocannons or anti-tank missiles.
Le VAB has seen combat in several conflicts around the world, such as the Gulf War, the War in Afghanistan and the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine. It has also been exported to more than 15 countries, including Saudi Arabia, Indonesia and Lebanon. The VAB is still the standard APC of the French Army, but it is gradually being replaced by newer vehicles such as the VBMR Griffon and the VBMR-L Serval.
