Le Carro Armato M15/42 fu l'ultimo carro medio italiano prodotto durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Era basato sui precedenti carri medi M13/40 e M14/41 ed è stato costruito tenendo conto delle lezioni della campagna del Nord Africa.

Service Notes
Despite being intended for the North African Campaign, the M15/42 arrived too late to see service there. Its primary combat was in **Italy** following its introduction in 1943. After the Italian armistice, many captured vehicles were utilized by the **German Wehrmacht**.
Its chassis proved to be a successful platform for self-propelled guns, such as the Semovente 75/34.
