Plus d’infos:

text The Ambrosini S.7 was an Italian aircraft that was designed as a racing plane before World War II and later became a military trainer. It had a low-wing, wooden structure and a tail-wheel undercarriage. It was powered by an Alfa Romeo 115ter engine that produced 225 horsepower. The Ambrosini S.7 was derived from the SAI Ambrosini 7, which set a world speed record for a 100 km closed loop in 1939. The SAI Ambrosini 7 was modified to accommodate two seats and a different engine for the training role.
The Regia Aeronautica ordered 10 SAI Ambrosini 7T trainers in 1942, but only a few were delivered before the armistice. After the war, the Ambrosini S.7 was produced for the Italian Air Force, which used 145 of them until the 1960s. The Ambrosini S.7 also spawned several variants, such as the Super S.7, which had more powerful engines and improved performance, and the Sagittario, which tested swept wing configurations.
