In Nordamerika wird der AS350 als AStar vermarktet. Der AS355 Ecureuil 2 ist eine zweimotorige Variante, die in Nordamerika als TwinStar vermarktet wird. Der Eurocopter EC130 ist ein Derivat der AS350-Flugzeugzelle und wird vom Hersteller als Teil der Écureuil-Einmotorenfamilie angesehen.
