Flere oplysninger:
Den AMX-13 is a French light tank that was produced from 1953 to 1985. It was designed to be a fast and agile vehicle that could support infantry and reconnaissance missions. The AMX-13 had a distinctive feature: a two-part oscillating turret that housed a 75 mm or 90 mm gun with an autoloader. The turret could elevate or depress the gun independently of the hull, allowing for a greater range of fire. The AMX-13 was also equipped with a 12.7 mm machine gun and smoke grenade launchers for self-defense. The AMX-13 had a crew of three: the commander, the gunner and the driver. The tank was powered by a 250 hp engine that gave it a top speed of 60 km/h and a range of 350 km. The AMX-13 was exported to many countries and saw action in several conflicts, such as the Suez Crisis, the Algerian War, the Six-Day War, the Indo-Pakistani War and the Vietnam War.
