Dassault Mirage 2000

The Dassault Mirage 2000 is a French multirole, single-engine fourth-generation jet fighter manufactured by Dassault Aviation. It was designed as a lightweight fighter based on the Mirage III in the late 1970s for the French Air Force (Armée de l’Air). The Mirage 2000 evolved into a multirole aircraft with several variants developed, with sales to a number of nations. The variants include the Mirage 2000N and 2000D strike variants, the improved Mirage 2000-5 and several export variants. Over 600 aircraft were built and it is in service in nine countries as of 2009

Mirage 2000-5 : By the late 1980s, the Mirage 2000 was beginning to age compared with the latest models of U.S. F-16 fighters, so Thomson-CSF began work on a privately funded update of the Mirage 2000C which was to be named the Mirage 2000-5. A two-seat Mirage 2000B prototype was extensively modified as the first Mirage 2000-5 prototype, and it first flew on 24 October 1990. A Mirage 2000C prototype was also reworked to a similar standard, making its initial flight on 27 April 1991. The production aircraft entered operational service in 1997.[30] A two-seat version was developed as well, whose rear seat has a HUD but not an associated head-level display and lacks a built-in cannon, although cannon pods can be carried.

Japanese Navy battleship Yamato

A news 2013 of the brand Hasegawa the kit : Japanese Navy battleship Yamato – Hasegawa Z01.

One of the largest, heaviest battleships ever constructed, the Yamato displaced a whopping 72,800 tons at full load. She was armed with nine 46 cm (18 in) main guns, which is the largest caliber artillery ever recorded for any warship. Surprisingly, the only time the Yamato ever fired her guns was during the Battle of Leyte Gulf in October 1944. Today, her legacy lives on at the Yamato Museum, which opened in 2005 to educate visitors about Japan’s rich naval history. Kit features a waterline hull and anti-aircraft guns.

A model of the brand Cyber-Hobby the kit : T-34/85 Mod.1944 – Cyber-Hobby 9146.

– Bonus Soviet Infantry Tank Riders Set Dragon’s popular 1/35 scale kit of the T-34/85 Mod.1944 is joined, in Orange Box’s inimitable way, with a set of identically scaled Soviet Infantry Tank Riders. The tank and infantrymen are a perfect match, as photos and wartime footage commonly show Soviet soldiers riding into battle in this way. This Orange Box set allows modelers to recreate such a dramatic scene without a single other item needing to be bought or added. The figures are expertly posed grasping an array of weaponry as they ride towards the frontline. Usually a Dragon figure set contains four soldiers, but this set actually has six, making it even more useful. What you have here are all the ingredients to create a compelling Eastern Front diorama…at an unbeatable Orange Box price!

A model of the brand ICM : the kit Kadett K38 Saloon, WWII German Staff Car – ICM 35478 .

ICM has updated us on their latest model in the works the Kadett K38 Saloon in 1/35th scale. The CAD images show that a lot of effort has gone into the engine bay and the chassis of the vehicle, and while it is not viewable at the moment I believe the interior has been equally well replicated.

Designed1939

The M115 203 mm howitzer, also known as the M115 8 inch howitzer, was a towed howitzer developed and used by the United States Army. Until the 1950s it was designated the 8 inch Howitzer M1. The original design started in 1919 but lapsed until resurrected in 1927 as a partner-piece for a new 155 mm gun. It was standardized as 8 inch Howitzer M1 in 1940. The M115/M1 was towed by the M35 Prime Mover gun tractor or a Mack 7⅓ ton 6×6 truck. The M115 was towed with 21 men per gun, and was shipped over to Germany Oct 1961 in response to the Berlin Crisis.
