The M422 was powered by an air-cooled V4 engine that delivered 55 horsepower and could reach a top speed of 62 mph.
Komisia M422 had a low profile, a fold-down windshield, and could carry up to six people with additional fold-up seats. The M422 was also equipped with a deep-water fording kit and limited-slip differentials. The M422 was used in various missions, including reconnaissance, liaison, and cargo transport.
