Дополнительная информация:

The Letov S-20 was a biplane fighter designed by Alois Šmolík and produced in Czechoslovakia in the 1920s. It had a powerful aerodynamic fuselage and a Hispano-Suiza 8Fb engine that gave it a maximum speed of 257.5 km/h. The S-20 was armed with two synchronized Vickers machine guns and had a range of 528 km. The Czechoslovakian Air Force ordered 105 S-20s for border air defense against possible Austrian and Hungarian intrusions.
The S-20 also set national speed records and won several air races. Eight S-20s were exported to Lithuania under the designation S-20L, where they served until 1935. The S-20 was followed by several variants with different engines and modifications, such as the S-20J with a Walter-built Bristol Jupiter engine and the S-21 with a Hispano-Suiza 8Aa engine for training purposes.
