Mais informações:

The Type 97 Te-Ke tankette was a light armored vehicle developed by the Imperial Japanese Army in the late 1930s. It was intended to serve as a fast reconnaissance and support vehicle for infantry units. It was based on the previous Type 94 tankette, but had several improvements, such as a rear-mounted diesel engine, a central turret with a 37 mm gun or a machine gun, and a better communication system between the two-man crew.
The Type 97 Te-Ke saw action in various theaters of World War II, including China, Mongolia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific islands. It faced different enemies and challenges, ranging from poorly equipped Chinese forces to well-armed Soviet tanks and American machine guns. The Type 97 Te-Ke proved to be agile and reliable, but also vulnerable and under-gunned. It was gradually replaced by more capable armored vehicles as the war progressed.
