De NHIndustries NH90 is een middelgrote, tweemotorige, multi-role militaire helikopter. Het werd ontwikkeld als reactie op de NAVO-vereisten voor een slagveldhelikopter die ook in marineomgevingen zou kunnen worden gebruikt. De NH90 is ontwikkeld en wordt geproduceerd door NHIndustries, een samenwerkingsbedrijf, dat eigendom is van Airbus Helicopters, Leonardo (voorheen AgustaWestland) en Fokker Aerostructures. Het eerste prototype voerde zijn eerste vlucht uit in december 1995; het type dat voor het eerst in 2007 in gebruik werd genomen. Sinds januari 2017 heeft de NH90 127.000 vlieguren geregistreerd in de strijdkrachten van dertien landen.
