De MOWAG Adelaar is een gepantserd voertuig op wielen, ontworpen door het Zwitserse MOWAG-bedrijf. Het heeft verschillende generaties van ontwikkeling doorgemaakt. Het huidige voertuig, geïntroduceerd in november 2003, is de Eagle IV, die is gebaseerd op het Duro IIIP-chassis. De originele MOWAG Eagle gebruikte het chassis en loopwerk van de Amerikaanse Humvee, terwijl de Eagle II en Eagle III het chassis en het loopwerk van de Humvee ECV gebruiken. Een Prototype is nu onderdeel van het Militair Museum Full. De MOWAG Eagle IV en V gebruikten het chassis en het loopwerk van de Mowag Duro.

General Characteristics
The MOWAG Eagle IV is a highly mobile, light protected vehicle developed by the Swiss company MOWAG (now part of General Dynamics European Land Systems). It is primarily used for reconnaissance, surveillance, command, and military police roles.
