The 2S4 Tyulpan is a self-propelled mortar of Soviet origin that has a caliber of 240 mm. It is the largest mortar system in use today and can fire various types of ammunition, including nuclear and chemical rounds. The 2S4 Tyulpan has a crew of five and is based on a modified GM-123 chassis. It can travel at a maximum speed of 62 km/h on road and has an operational range of 420 km.
The 2S4 Tyulpan can fire one round per minute and has a maximum range of 19.6 km. The mortar is mounted on the rear of the vehicle and can be elevated from 45 to 80 degrees.
