The **Panzerkampfwagen V Ausführung A (PzKpfw V Ausf. A)**, or **Panther Ausf. A**, was the second production model of the German Panther medium tank. The Panther Ausf. A retained the revolutionary design features intended to counter the Soviet T-34:
