Más información:

The Morane-Saulnier Alcyon was a French basic training aircraft that first flew in 1949. It was designed by Morane-Saulnier, a company that had a long history of producing military and civil aircraft since 1911. The Alcyon was a low-wing monoplane with a retractable tailwheel landing gear and a three-seat cockpit. It was powered by a Potez 6D six-cylinder air-cooled engine that produced 240 hp. The Alcyon was used by the French Air Force, the French Navy and the Cambodian Air Force for various roles, including gunnery training, counter-insurgency operations and navigation training.
It was also used by civilian flying schools, such as Air France, for pilot training and perfectionment. The Alcyon was praised for its versatility, reliability and performance, and could perform basic aerobatic maneuvers. It had a full IFR equipment, including two VOR-ILS sets, one ADF set, two VHF radios, a radar altimeter, an attitude indicator and a directional gyroscope. The Alcyon had a maximum speed of 240 km/h, a cruising speed of 200 km/h, an endurance of 4 hours and a service ceiling of 4,800 m. A total of 208 Alcyons were built, and some of them are still flying today as private aircraft.
