el Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-19 (Ruso: Микоян и Гуревих МиГ-19; Nombre del informe de la OTAN: Farmer) es un avión de combate bimotor soviético de segunda generación, monoplaza y bimotor. Fue el primer avión de producción soviético capaz de velocidades supersónicas en vuelo nivelado. Un peleador comparable de la "Century Series" estadounidense fue el Norteamericano F-100 Super Sabre, aunque el MiG-19 se opondría principalmente al Más moderno McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II y Republic F-105 Thunderchief sobre Vietnam del Norte.
