Más información:

The British 9.2 inch Howitzer was a powerful weapon that played a crucial role in World War I. It was designed to counter the German heavy artillery and to destroy enemy fortifications and trenches. The Howitzer had a long barrel that could fire a 290-pound shell up to 13,935 yards with a high trajectory. The Howitzer was transported in three parts and assembled on a steel platform that was anchored to the ground. The Howitzer was operated by a crew of 10 men and required careful aiming and loading. The British 9.2 inch Howitzer was nicknamed “Mother” after the prototype gun that was first used in France in October 1914. The Howitzer proved to be very effective and reliable, and was widely used by the British and their allies until the end of the war.
