Teh Ρόμπινσον R44 είναι ένα τετραθέσιο ελαφρύ ελικόπτερο που παράγεται από την Εταιρεία Ελικοπτέρων Robinson από το 1992. Βασισμένο στο διθέσιο Robinson R22 της εταιρείας, το R44 διαθέτει υδραυλικά υποβοηθούμενα χειριστήρια πτήσης. Πέταξε για πρώτη φορά στις 31 Μαρτίου 1990 και έλαβε πιστοποίηση FAA τον Δεκέμβριο του 1992, με την πρώτη παράδοση τον Φεβρουάριο του 1993.

Design and Powerplant

Engine: One Lycoming IO-540-AE1A5 six-cylinder, fuel-injected piston engine (Raven II). The Raven I uses a carbureted O-540.
Horsepower: Derated to 245 hp for takeoff and 205 hp continuous (Raven II).
Rotor System: Semi-rigid two-bladed main rotor and a two-bladed tail rotor.
