Tá Polaris RZR (vyslovuje se "břitva") je sportovní sport vyráběný společností Polaris Industries. Když byl v roce 2007 uveden na trh jako model 2008, byl oficiálně znám jako Ranger RZR, protože byl prodáván jako sub-model většího, pracovně orientovaného Rangeru. Jak RZR získával na popularitě, Polaris nakonec upustil od označení Ranger a umístil RZR jako samostatný model.
Velitelství speciálních operací USA (U)SOCOM objednalo v září 2013 u společnosti Polaris Defense až 1 500 strojů MRZR-2 (dvoumístný) a MRZR-4 (čtyřmístný). Velkou nevýhodou těchto nových malých vojenských vozidel bylo, že si zachovaly své původní benzínové motory, které jsou nekompatibilní se standardním vojenským palivem JP-8. Z hlediska logistiky nejsou dva různé druhy paliv zjevně ideální. Vzhledem k tomu, že jen málo takových strojů se dočkalo bojového použití a civilní uživatelé nemají zájem je provozovat na naftu, byla výměna motoru považována za nepravděpodobnou.

The Polaris MRZR (pronounced M-R-Z-R) is a series of highly mobile, lightweight tactical all-terrain vehicles developed by Polaris Defense.
