The Renault FT 17 was a French light tank that was widely used during the First World War and the interwar period. It was the first tank to have a fully rotating turret, a feature that became standard for most modern tanks. The FT 17 had a crew of two: a driver and a gunner. It was armed with either a 37 mm cannon or a 7.92 mm machine gun. The FT 17 had a maximum speed of 7.5 km/h and a range of 65 km. It was also one of the most produced tanks of the war, with over 3,000 units built by France and its allies.
