The Eurocopter AS532 Cougar is a twin-engine, medium-weight, multipurpose helicopter developed by France. It is a military version of the Eurocopter AS332 Super Puma, and was introduced in 1990. The AS532 Cougar can perform various roles, such as troop transport, medical evacuation, combat search and rescue, special operations, and VIP transport. It can carry up to 29 troops or 6 stretchers, and has a maximum takeoff weight of 9.35 tonnes.
