Čaj Republika-Ford JB-2 was a jet-powered flying bomb that was developed by the United States during World War II. It was a copy of the German V-1, which was the first cruise missile in history. The JB-2 had a pulsejet engine that propelled it at speeds of over 400 miles per hour, and a warhead that contained 2,000 pounds of explosives.
The JB-2 could be launched from land, air or sea, and had a range of about 150 miles. The JB-2 was intended to be used against Japan, but the war ended before it could be deployed in combat. The JB-2 was later used for testing and research purposes, and helped pave the way for more advanced Rakete in the postwar era.
