V Martin B-57 Canberra je bil taktični bombnik z dvojnim reaktivnim motorjem, ki je opremljal letalske sile ZDA od sredine 50-ih let. Zaradi robustne aerodinamične zasnove in velike zanesljivosti je idealen za vlogo taktičnih bombnikov in izvidniških letal. Opremljen je bil z dvema turboreaktivnima motorjema Wright J65 in je lahko dosegel 960 km / h. Zahvaljujoč bombnemu prostoru in štirim zunanjim trdim točkam je lahko nosil ofenzivno obremenitev 3.300 kg. Med dolgoletnimi operativnimi dejavnostmi je bilo razvitih več različic. Zlasti B-57G, ki izhaja iz B-57B, je bil razvit kot nočni vsiljivec. B-57G, ki ga je mogoče zlahka prepoznati po dodanem "radome", je med vietnamsko vojno igral pomembno vlogo pri podpori bojev vzdolž poti Ho Chi Minh. Opremljen je bil z novim radarjem, sodobnejšo letalsko elektroniko in zlasti z različnimi senzorji, ki so lahko spuščali lasersko vodene bombe.

The subject of Dragon’s latest 1/72 scale plastic kit is a delightful model of the American-designed Sikorsky SH-3G Sea King helicopter. Originally, the twin-engine SH-3 Sea King was used primarily in the role of anti-submarine warfare (ASW) by the US Navy (USN). It was also the first amphibious helicopter in the world and it entered USN service in 1961. Various modifications occurred in its lifespan, with a total of 105 SH-3A and SH-3D craft being converted into the versatile SH-3G. The latter was a cargo, utility and transport helicopter used by the USN. In the 1990s the SH-3 Sea King was replaced by the SH-60 Seahawk in the USN. This 1/72 scale Dragon plastic model is well designed and cleverly engineered to induce maximum modeling enjoyment. The fuselage is correctly proportioned and it’s furnished with a full level of detail both inside and outside. It has a new part to plug the gap where the sonar was originally located. The foldable rotor blades are made to true scale thickness too. With appropriate Cartograf decal markings for several USN squadrons available, this SH-3G is ready to lift off in service of the navy!

7,1-tonski Maultier, ki je bil uveden od leta 1942 naprej, je bil v veliki meri uspešen, čeprav ni bil tako mobilen kot namensko zgrajene polgosenice. 12.8 cm Kanone 81(K-81/2) je bil nemški težki protitankovski top, zasnovan za boj proti težkim sovjetskim tankom, kot je IS-2. Nemška vojska je naletela na ruske 122-milimetrske topove in zahtevala podobno orožje. Na obstoječih vagonih je bilo uporabljenih približno 50 sodov in hlač. Orožje, ki je uporabljalo nekdanji francoski voziček GPF-T, je bilo znano kot K 81/1, medtem ko je K 81/2 uporabljalo nekdanje ruske vozičke A-19 / ML-20 z odstranjenim ščitom in izravnalno opremo. Zibelka in sistem povratnega udarca sta bila zavržena in 128-milimetrski top je bil nameščen v obročno zibelko, podobno tisti, ki je bila uporabljena na 81/1. Zgrajena je bila tudi druga različica K 81/2, v kateri so bili ohranjeni originalni ruski ekvilibratori.

Srednji tank M-48 Patton se je rodil med hladno vojno, da bi nadomestil prejšnjo in razširjeno M-47. Prve enote so bile dostavljene ameriški vojski v začetku 50. let. V primerjavi s predhodnikom je M-48 uporabljal nov trup in novo kupolo, izdelano tako s fuzijo kot bolj zaščitno, ter nov sistem vzmetenja. Zgodnje različice so sprejele enako 90-milimetrsko pištolo kot M-47. M-48 Patton je bil v svoji zgodovini izdelan v impresivnem številu in je igral aktivno vlogo v več vojnih gledališčih. Od leta 1965, med vietnamsko vojno, zlasti s strani marincev, so "Patton" uporabljali tudi Izraelci, poleg težjega Centuriona, med šestdnevno vojno leta 1967. Za različico A2 so bile značilne predvsem izboljšave motorja, menjalnika in kupole.

Prvi polet HU-16 je bil 24. oktobra 1947.

During WWII, the only heavy tank produced by Italy was the P40. The P stands for Pesante, or heavy in Italian, and the number 40 for the year of adoption, 1940. The tank featured bogey-style wheels on a lead spring suspension. The riveted hull construction was the same as the earlier Carro Armato M13/40 (Item 32596). The tank was equipped with a 75mm gun and an 8mm Breda machine gun and was powered by a 330hp V12 diesel engine. The P40 adopted sloped armor after encountering the Soviet T-34s in battle. Roughly 1,200 tanks were order, but only a few were completed before the Italian Armistice in 1943. Approximately 100 tanks were use from then to the end of the war in Northern Italy and Yugoslavia.

The first example was demonstrated in early 1941, and an order was placed in June of that year. The first version carried a Valentine Mk II turret with 2 pounder gun. Vehicles of later variant designs carried heavier armament. Mk II version has heavier turret with a 6 pounder gun, redesigned front hull, 158 hp diesel engine. The weight of Mk II is 12.0 t.
