A Defesa Unida Sistema de Armas Blindadas M8 foi um tanque leve americano que se destinava a substituir o M551A1 Sheridan na 82ª Divisão Aerotransportada, além de ser esperado para substituir os Humvees equipados com TOW no 2º Regimento de Cavalaria Blindada (2º ACR). O projeto M8 acabou sendo cancelado em 1997. Seu papel no 2º ACR acabou sendo assumido pelo M1128 Mobile Gun System.

The M8 Armored Gun System is a light tank developed by the United States in the 1990s. It was designed to provide fire support and reconnaissance for airborne and light infantry units. The M8 features a 105 mm rifled cannon, a 12.7 mm machine gun, and a 7.62 mm coaxial machine gun. The M8 has a crew of three: a commander, a gunner, and a driver.
