The CW-22 was exported to several countries, including the Netherlands, Turkey, China, and Brazil. Some of the CW-22s were used for combat missions during World War II, such as reconnaissance, bombing, and strafing. The CW-22 was also produced under license in Japan as the Kokusai Ki-86.
