The MQ-8 Fire Scout can operate from any air-capable ship or land base and can be controlled remotely by a human operator or autonomously by an onboard computer.
The MQ-8 Fire Scout has a maximum speed of 115 knots, a range of 110 nautical miles, and an endurance of up to 8 hours. The MQ-8 Fire Scout can carry a variety of payloads such as electro-optical/infrared sensors, radar, laser designators, and weapons.
