Daugiau informacijos:

The T-72B is a variant of the Soviet T-72 main battle tank that was introduced in 1984. It features improved armor protection, fire control system and mobility compared to the previous T-72A model. The T-72B has a cast steel turret with composite armor inserts that can withstand kinetic energy and shaped charge projectiles. The hull also has additional appliqué armor on the glacis plate and the sides.
The main armament of the T-72B is a 125 mm smoothbore gun that can fire various types of ammunition, including guided missiles. The secondary armament consists of a coaxial 7.62 mm machine gun and a 12.7 mm anti-aircraft machine gun on the commander’s cupola. The T-72B is powered by a V-84MS diesel engine that produces 840 hp and allows a maximum speed of 60 km/h on road and 45 km/h off-road. The T-72B has a crew of three: commander, gunner and driver. The T-72B is one of the most widely used tanks in the world, with more than 25,000 units produced and exported to many countries.
