오토카로 프로테토 S37 피아트 / 스파 TL37 경포 트랙터를 기반으로 한 장갑차였습니다. S37에는 승무원이 차량 내부에서 싸울 수있는 발사 포트가 없었습니다. 차량에서 적과 교전하는 군대는 구획의 상단 가장자리에서 발사에 자신을 노출해야했습니다. S-37은 나중에 추가 승무원 보호로 양쪽에 두 개의 트렌치 실드가 장착되었습니다. Autocarro Protetto는 거대한 타이어를 가지고있어 모래에서 우수한 견인력을 제공했습니다. 일부 S-37 장갑차는 발칸 반도 극장과 1943 년 중반의 쿠르스크 전투 중에도 Wehrmacht에 의해 사용되었습니다.
