The ultimate utilty vehicle in WWII was the Willys Jeep. Due to the huge demand Ford was contracted to produce them as well. The Ford car was then designated GPW, with the “W” referring to the “Willys” licensed design. During World War II, Willys produced 363,000 Jeeps and Ford some 280,000. Approximately 51,000 were exported to the U.S.S.R. under the Lend-Lease program. A top speed of 65mph and a lightweight construction enabled it to operate in many locations unsuited to other vehicles.

The Sherman Firefly was a WWII British variant of the American Sherman tank, fitted with the powerful British 17 pounder anti-tank gun as its main weapon. Originally conceived as a stopgap until future British tank designs came into service, the Sherman Firefly became the most common tank with the 17 pounder in WWII. It soon became highly valued as the only British tank capable of defeating the Panther and Tiger tanks it faced in Normandy at standard combat ranges. The Forces of Valor® replica is of a U.K. Sherman Firefly as seen in Normandy in 1944.

The Armoured Vehicle General Purpose (AVGP) fleet is comprised of three variants: the Cougar, the Grizzly, and the Husky. The AVGP fleet entered service in 1976. A total of 195 Cougars were originally procured to equip Regular and Reserve armoured units. Following the acquisition of the Coyote as a part of the 1999 Army Equipment Rationalisation Plan, the Cougar fleet was reduced to 100 vehicles – to be exclusively employed by Reserve armoured units. The AVGP fleet is currently undergoing a service life-extension program to increase its reliability, supportability and commonality with the Bison and Coyote fleets. Number in service: Cougar – 100, Grizzly – 274, Husky – 27.

Francia 25 mm-es páncéltörő löveg S.A. Mle 1934. 1926-ban Hotchkiss egy 25 mm-es házon belüli kialakítást javasolt, amelyet végül 1934-ben fogadtak el szolgálatra, Canon de 25 mm semi-automatique mod?le 1934 néven. A második világháború kitörésekor ez volt a francia gyalogság fő tartályellenes fegyvere. 1939-ben a Brit Expedíciós Haderő is használta, és páncéltörő ágyúként vált ismertté, 25 mm. Probably the first vehicle of complete Japanese design and most likely the first practical four wheel drive vehicle the Kurogane, conceived in 1935 and entering production in 1937 became a very useful tool to the Japanese military. This cute little scout car was powered by a simple air cooled, two cylinder four stroke V type engine (33 hp). It was used widely by both the Army and the Navy as a scout car, liaison vehicle and messenger. 4775 were made.

HMS Queen Elizabeth was the name ship of the Queen Elizabeth class of battleships. She was the most powerful battleship in the British fleet when completed, and continued to provide valuable service with the Royal Navy during the Second World War, where she served as the flagship of Admiral Andrew Cunningham in the Mediterranean. She was built with sixteen 6in guns. However, the four guns below the quarterdeck proved to be useless and were replaced by two guns above the midships battery, a layout that was copied on the rest of the class.

A Aztán 43 (Panzerabwehrkanone 43) egy német 88 mm-es páncéltörő löveg volt, amelyet a Krupp fejlesztett ki a Rheinmetall 8,8 cm Flak 41 légvédelmi löveggel versenyezve, és a második világháború alatt használták. A Pak 43 volt a Wehrmacht legerősebb páncéltörő lövege, amely jelentős számban látott szolgálatot, és módosított formában szolgált a Tiger II harckocsi fő lövegeként, valamint az Elefant, Jagdpanther és Nashorn harckocsirombolókon. A továbbfejlesztett 8,8 cm-es körnek gyakorlatilag lapos pályája volt 1000 yardig, és képes volt frontálisan behatolni az összes szövetséges harckocsiba nagy távolságokon, akár 2000-2500 yardig és esetenként annál is nagyobb mértékben (csak a héj és az optika pontossága korlátozta). Még a szovjet IS-sorozatú harckocsik és harckocsirombolók (a második világháború alatt a legsúlyosabban páncélozott szövetséges járművek) is sebezhetőek voltak a Pak 43-mal szemben, és túlszárnyalták őket.

USS SARATOGA CV-3 Teljes hossz: 270,7 m Sugár: 32,3 m Elmozdulás: 33000 t Saratoga, az Egyesült Államok haditengerészetének egyik első gyors hordozója, 1920. szeptember 25-én fektette le a New York Shipbuilding Co., és 1927. november 16-án üzembe helyezték. Amikor a japánok 1941. december 7-én eltalálták Pearl Harbort, Saratoga éppen belépett San Diegóba egy ideiglenes szárazdokkolás után Bremertonban. Másnap sietve elindult, mint egy harmadik hordozóerő magja. 1942. január 11-én eltalálta egy mélyen futó torpedó, amelyet a japán tengeralattjáró lőtt ki. F. J. Fletcher igazi admirális zászlóshajójaként Saratoga 1942. augusztus 7-én korán megnyitotta a guadalcanali támadást, amikor a szélnek fordult, hogy repülőgépeket indítson. A következő két napban légi fedezetet biztosított a kirakodásokhoz, és részt vett a Guadalcanal összes műveletében. Saratoga meghaladta a háború utáni követelményeket, és a Bikini-atollon a "Crossroads" művelethez rendelték, hogy tesztelje az atombomba haditengerészeti hajókra gyakorolt hatását. 1946. augusztus 15-én lekerült a haditengerészet listájáról.
