das Boeing B-52 Stratofortress is a long-range, subsonic, jet-powered strategic bomber. The B-52 was designed and built by Boeing, which has continued to provide support and upgrades. It has been operated by the United States Air Force (USAF) since the 1950s. The bomber carries up to 70,000 pounds (32,000 kg) of weapons. Beginning with the successful contract bid in June 1946, the B-52 design evolved from a straight-wing aircraft powered by six turboprop engines to the final prototype YB-52 with eight turbojet engines and swept wings. The B-52 took its maiden flight in April 1952. Built to carry nuclear weapons for Cold War-era deterrence missions, the B-52 Stratofortress replaced the Convair B-36. Although a veteran of several wars, the Stratofortress has dropped only conventional munitions in combat.

The ROKS-2 and ROKS-3 were man-portable flamethrowers used by the USSR in the Second World War. The ROKS-2 was designed not to draw attention so the fuel tank was designed to be easy to conceal within a knapsack, and the fuel pipe designed to resemble a rifle. ROKS-3 was a simplified design and had a regular cylindrical fuel tank. The Finnish designation for captured ROKS-2 units was M/41-r. Roks-2 were used, amongst other engagements, during the close-range fighting during the first days of the battle of Kursk in 1943.

Der FV 4201 Häuptling war in den 1960er und 1970er Jahren der wichtigste Kampfpanzer des Vereinigten Königreichs. Es war einer der fortschrittlichsten Panzer seiner Zeit und hatte zum Zeitpunkt seiner Einführung 1966 das mächtigste Hauptgeschütz und die effektivste Panzerung aller Panzer der Welt. Der Chieftain führte auch eine supine (rückwärts liegende) Fahrerposition ein, die einen stark geneigten Rumpf mit reduzierter Höhe ermöglichte.

The ultimate utilty vehicle in WWII was the Willys Jeep. Due to the huge demand Ford was contracted to produce them as well. The Ford car was then designated GPW, with the “W” referring to the “Willys” licensed design. During World War II, Willys produced 363,000 Jeeps and Ford some 280,000. Approximately 51,000 were exported to the U.S.S.R. under the Lend-Lease program. A top speed of 65mph and a lightweight construction enabled it to operate in many locations unsuited to other vehicles.

It soon became highly valued as the only British tank capable of defeating the Panther and Tiger tanks it faced in Normandy at standard combat ranges. Die AVGP-Flotte (Armoured Vehicle General Purpose) besteht aus drei Varianten: dem Cougar, dem Grizzly und dem Husky. Die AVGP-Flotte wurde 1976 in Dienst gestellt. Insgesamt 195 Cougars wurden ursprünglich beschafft, um reguläre und Reserve-Panzereinheiten auszurüsten. Nach der Anschaffung des Coyote im Rahmen des Army Equipment Rationalisation Plan von 1999 wurde die Cougar-Flotte auf 100 Fahrzeuge reduziert, die ausschließlich von gepanzerten Einheiten der Reserve eingesetzt werden sollten. Die AVGP-Flotte wird derzeit einem Programm zur Verlängerung der Lebensdauer unterzogen, um ihre Zuverlässigkeit, Unterstützbarkeit und Gemeinsamkeit mit den Bison- und Coyote-Flotten zu erhöhen. Anzahl der im Einsatz: Puma – 100, Grizzly – 274, Husky – 27.
