A brand novelty 2011 Black Dog Set: "USd.Kfz.11 accessories set".

Le SdKfz 11 leichter Zugkraftwagen 3 t. (Sonderkraftfahrzeug 11) était un semi-chenillé conçu comme tracteur d’artillerie, et produit à — exemplaires au cours de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Les pièces qu’il pouvait tracter allaient du canon antiaérien Flak 43 de 3,7-cm jusqu’à l’obusier de campagne FH 18 de 10,5-cm, mais le besoin de tracteur étant tel dans l’armée allemande, qu’on le vit trainer jusqu’à des pièces de 8,8-cm Pak 43 et Flak 41… Ce véhicule connut tant de succès qu’il remplaça de fait le SdKfz 6 de 5 tonnes, véhicule coûteux dont la production stoppa en 1942. Il semble que peu de variantes du SdKfz 11 furent produites, son rôle de tracteur étant prioritaire.

Conçu par le constructeur Diamond T comme le Halftrack M2, il pouvait transporter jusqu’à 10 combattants. Mis en œuvre par un équipage de 3 hommes, il disposait d’un moteur essence, d’une boîte de vitesse à 4 rapport et d’un treuil avant de 4,5 t. L’épaisseur de son blindage variait entre 6,3 et 12,7 mm. La version M3A1 disposait d’une mitrailleuse lourde placée à l’avant du véhicule.

Le Medium Tank M4 est le char américain moyen produit en plus grande quantité pendant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Près de cinquante mille exemplaires (toutes versions confondues) furent produits. Son surnom de « Sherman », lui est attribué par les Britanniques, quand ils reçoivent leurs premiers exemplaires dans le cadre de la loi de prêt-bail, continuant leur tradition de nommer les chars d’origine américaine d’après le nom d’un général nordiste de la guerre de Sécession célèbre de ce pays. L’US Army adopte par la suite ce surnom, et le Medium Tank M4 est dès lors appelé « M4 Sherman ». Les Soviétiques surnomment les leurs « Emcha ».

La Willys MB est un véhicule tout-terrain léger conçu en 1940 sur un cahier des charges de l’armée américaine. La Willys MB est presque identique à la Ford GPW, et a été fabriquée de l’année 1941 jusqu’à l’année 1945. L’armée américaine a appelé ce type de véhicules « GP » pour une abréviation de « General Purpose » (« usage général » en français). Les Jeeps sont considérées comme un des emblèmes de la Deuxième Guerre mondiale.

The Battle of the Ardennes is the name given to all the military operations that took place in the Belgian Ardennes and the north of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg during the winter of 1944-1945. The battle began on December 16, 1944 with a surprise German attack, known as the "Offensive von Rundstedt". He was opposed to it: he felt that the objective was too ambitious. The Anglo-Americans call it "Battle of the Bulge" because of the corner shape that the front line had taken when German penetration was stopped. The Battle of the Bulge ended at the end of January 1945 after the Germans were pushed back beyond their starting line.

Beaucoup d’experts en artillerie classent ce canon parmi les meilleures pièces d’artillerie de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, avec le Canon de 88 allemand et l’obusier de 25 livres britannique. ZiS signigie “Zavod imeni Stalina” (en Russe Завод имени Сталина, ‘usine au nom de Staline’), le nom officiel de la fabrique d’artillerie No. 92 de Moscou qui a commencé la production de ce canon.

The Panzerkampfwagen VI King's Tiger, or Sd.Kfz. 182 Panzer VI ausf B Tiger II, nicknamed the Konigstiger (Royal Tiger), is a German tank of the Second World War. Produced at 50 units for the "Porsche" turret model, 439 units for the "Henschel" turret model, this tank was equipped with a large armour, an anti-tank gun giving it the ability to put out of action all Allied tanks in service during the last two years of the conflict, but it had the same engine as the Panther tank. Its weight-to-power ratio was therefore lower, it was slow and unsylenceable, extremely fuel-intensive, and had to change tracks before and after any rail transport.

The SdKfz 171 Panzer V Panther was a battle tank used by the German army during World War II, from mid-1943 to May 8, 1945. Designed to counter the Soviet T-34 tank and replace the Panzerkampfwagen III and Panzerkampfwagen IV, it ultimately served alongside them until the end of the war. Until an order from Adolf Hitler, dated February 27, 1944, it was designated as PzKpfw V Panther and, in the ordinance inventory, as Sd.Kfz. 171.
