Per saperne di più:

Le Sturmtiger was a German heavy assault gun that was developed and produced during World War II. It was based on the chassis of the Tiger I tank and armed with a 380 mm rocket-propelled mortar. The official name of the vehicle was Sturmmörserwagen 606/4 mit 38 cm RW 61, but it was commonly known as Sturmtiger, meaning “Assault Tiger”. The Sturmtiger’s main role was to provide fire support for infantry units fighting in urban areas, where it could demolish fortified buildings or bunkers with a single shot.
Le Sturmtiger had a very limited production run of only 18 vehicles, which were converted from damaged Tiger I tanks. The Sturmtiger saw combat in several battles, such as the Warsaw Uprising, the Battle of the Bulge and the Battle of the Reichswald. The Sturmtiger was a formidable weapon, but it also had many drawbacks, such as its heavy weight, low mobility, high fuel consumption, limited ammunition supply and complex maintenance.
