General Characteristics

The IAI Arava is a twin-engine, high-wing, short takeoff and landing (STOL) utility transport aircraft, and was Israel Aircraft Industries’ (IAI) first major indigenous aircraft design to enter production. Design and Powerplant

Engines: Two Pratt & Whitney Canada PT6A-34 turboprop engines (or PT6A-36 on the 202 prototype).
