Čaj Dassault Super Mystère was a French fighter-bomber and was the first Western European supersonic aircraft to enter mass production. The Super Mystère represents the final step in evolution which began with the Dassault Ouragan and progressed through the Mystère II/III and Mystère IV. While earlier Mystère variants could attain supersonic speeds only in a dive, the Super Mystère could exceed the speed of sound in level flight. This was achieved thanks to the new thin wing with 45° of sweep (compared with 41° of sweep in the Mystère IV and only 33° in Mystère II) and the use of an afterburner-equipped turbojet engine.

Čaj Dassault Super Mystere B.2 bio je francuski lovac-bombarder koji je ušao u službu 1958. To je bio prvi supersonični avion zapadne Evrope koji je ušao u masovnu proizvodnju i prvi na svetu koji je premašio Mach 2 u nivou leta. Super Mystere B.2 je bio unapređena verzija ranijeg Mystere IV, sa snažnijim motorom, oborenim krilom i redizajniranim trupom.
Čaj Super Mystere B.2 bio je naoružan sa dva topa od 30 mm i mogao je da nosi razne bombe, rakete i rakete. Videla je borbenu akciju u Sueckoj krizi, Šestodnevnom ratu i ratu attribucije, uglavnom sa izraelskim vazduhoplovnim snagama. Super Mystere B.2 je penzionisan iz službe 1977.
