V Pak 43 (Panzerabwehrkanone 43) je bil nemški proti tankovski top 88 mm, ki ga je razvil Krupp v konkurenci s protiletalsko pištolo Rheinmetall 8,8 cm Flak 41 in uporabljen med drugo svetovno vojno. Pak 43 je bil najmočnejša protitankovska pištola Wehrmachta, ki je v znatnem številu videla servis, ki je v spremenjeni obliki služil tudi kot glavna pištola na tanku Tiger II, ter elefant, Jagdpanther in Nashorn tank rušilci tankov. Izboljšana krogla 8,8 cm je imela skoraj ravno pot do 1000 metrov in je lahko frontalno prodrla v vse zamejske tanke na dolgih dosegih, do in občasno več kot 2000-2500 metrov (omejena le s točnostjo lupine in optike). Celo sovjetski tanki serije IS in tankovski rušilci (najtežja oklepna zaletišča, polnjena med drugo svetovno vojno) so bili ranljivi in razporejeni s strani Pak 43.

USS SARATOGA CV-3 Length overall: 270.7m Beam: 32.3m Displacement: 33000 t Saratoga, one of the first fast carriers in the United States Navy, was laid down on 25 September 1920, by the New York Shipbuilding Co., and commissioned on 16 November 1927. When the Japanese struck Pearl Harbor on 7 December 1941, Saratoga was just entering San Diego after an interim dry docking at Bremerton. She hurriedly got underway the following day as the nucleus of a third carrier force. On 11 January 1942, she was hit by a deep-running torpedo fired by the Japanese submarine. As flagship of Real Admiral F. J. Fletcher, Saratoga opened the Guadalcanal assault early on 7 August 1942 when she turned into the wind to launch aircraft. She provided air cover for the landings for the next two days, and take part in all the operations in the Guadalcanal. Saratoga was surplus to postwar requirements, and she was assigned to Operation “Crossroads” at Bikini Atoll to test the effect of the atomic bomb on naval vessels. She was struck from the Navy list on 15 August 1946. Saratoga received seven battle stars for her WWII service.

A kit from the brand Roden the kit : Sd. Kfz 231 – Roden 702.
The Bussing NAG factory developed its own design, which received the name ARW (Achtradwagen = eight-wheeled car). The new car had some interesting features, like eight independently sprung wheels with both steering systems affecting all eight wheels. It could be driven in both directions because it had two driver positions, in the front and in the back. The armored superstructure was attached to the frame of the chassis. The armored body was 14.5mm thick in front and 8mm elsewhere. The first mass-produced machines of this type received the official designation Sd.Kfz.231 and reached units of the Panzer reconnaissance troops in late 1937, and one year later they took part in the annexation of Czechoslovakia.
